To assist companies in protecting storage performance from vibration driven loss, two key technologies have been developed and are available today.

VMA – 1000: A novel vibration sensor measurement and reporting system.

Non-intrusive vibration sensors can be attached to key server or storage racks to record the levels of vibration during operation, correlate the variation with performance, and pinpoint the problem areas. Data from the sensors can be uploaded into existing performance monitoring solutions.

AVR – 1000: Patented carbon fiber infused vibration management rack for servers and storage chassis.

The rack is able to dissipate internal and external vibration up to 1000X providing unmatched protection for hard disk drive performance. The rack conforms to existing data center standards in size, load, and attachment options.
